Laurie Dhue (born February 10, 1968 in Georgia) is an anchor and a reporter for the syndicated television show Geraldo at Large, which is produced by and on Fox.
She graduated from the prestigious Westminster Schools in Atlanta. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science with a concentration in Dramatic Arts from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Previously, she was an anchor and a reporter on the Fox News Channel, where she hosted Fox News Live, Fox Magazine and the Fox Report Weekend. Before FNC, she had previously worked for CNN and MSNBC.
She sat for an interview with Bill O'Reilly on March 20, 2006, in which she talked about her career ambitions. A followup e-mail on the 21st suggested a title, should she ever get her own show on Fox: The Dhue Point.
O'Reilly kind of liked the idea. No word from Laurie Dhue on the subject. During the interview O'Reilly mentioned that she was attractive (possibly risking a "Paula Zahn moment"), to which Dhue replied, somewhat defensively, "Well, I was attractive, but I was also smart and I worked hard" (see[[1]]).
