Aol Instant Messenger (AIM) Mail is a Web-based e-mail (Webmail) service from America Online (AOL).

History
AOL purchased MailBlocks on August 4, 2004, to add an application-like web interface to its AOL Mail service. This interface is also showcased in AIM Mail.
Features
AIM Mail has the following features available at no cost:
- 2 GB quota
- 16 MB attachments
- Spam protection
- Virus protection
- Spell checking
- Integration with AIM presence
- Message unsend capabilty (provided the message is sent to another AOL or AIM mailbox).
Advertising is displayed while working with the e-mail account. Users can also read and send mail using IMAP capable clients, such as Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, and Apple Mail.
